were (1) doubling number of vessels on Pearl River run

specified in current agreement (2) question whether

arrangements could be made for (a) specific kinds of

merchandise to be carried on Pearl River run by British

ressels and Japanese Government chartered vessels and

(b) coal to be brought to Hong Kong from Formosa by the
